Since Florida’s new super speeder law took effect July 1, Orange County deputies have made 101 arrests. Thirty-five of those drivers were clocked at 115 mph or higher, and some even had children in the car. In October alone, we made more than 40 arrests, the busiest month yet. If you’re caught driving 50 mph or more over the limit or over 100 mph while endangering others, you’re not getting a ticket. You’re going to jail and your car will be towed. Slow down.
