Sergei Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet ranks among the 20th century’s most celebrated ballet scores. The work premiered in 1935 in Brno, and shorty afterwards, Vadim Borisovsky—violist and founding member of the Beethoven Quartet—subsequently created a gorgeous arrangement for viola and piano.
