#ThrowbackThursday "Put it to music and sing it to me." 43 years ago, all the way back in 1977, Ray was the special guest start on a short-lived tv show called "Nashville 99" starring Jerry Reed and Claude Akins! The series was shot in Nashville and featured several country music stars including Chet Atkins, Charlie Pride, Johnny Paycheck, Mel Tillis, and Tammy Wynette. Ray appeared in the episode titled "Jolene", which was the fourth episode and also the last of the series. Here's a scene with
