Chores took a little longer today with two new calves…both out of first calf heifers. Both heifers were really good for their first milking and calves drank well but it still all takes extra time. I was thankful to have started supper before heading out for chores and super thankful to find the kids had finished it and had the hot meal on the table for us all to enjoy when we did finally all make it in.
