Around 9:15 AM this morning, Fresno Firefighters responded to a structure fire on E. Cesar Chavez Blvd. near Maple Ave. Crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the back of a furniture store and quickly initiated fire attack. The fire, which started on the exterior and spread into the attic space, was contained before it caused significant damage. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. A total of 34 firefighters responded. The cause remains under investigation. | Fresno Fire Department
