Watch the incredible story documenting the 2008 recovery of the remains of the crew and passengers of RAF Dakota KN630. 70 years ago today, on 25th August 1950, RAF Dakota KN630 went down in the middle of the Malaysian jungle killing all 12 on board. For nearly 60 years their remains laid there but thanks to the misdirection of a letter to the Malaysian Tourist Office in 2007 the crew and passengers of RAF Dakota KN630 were finally laid to rest in 2012 – 62 years after the aircraft went down. 🎥
