The heart wants what the heart wants 😅 While budgies and weiros (cockatiels) are compatible species, it depends on the individual birds as to how they'll get on together. Keeping them together in a small cage generally isn't advisable. These two (and the rest of the flock) are in a large aviary enclosure and are fully flighted so they can get away from each other if wanted. Birds nip at each other in warning. Clearly this budgie isn't getting the hint 😆, but no harm done... aside from perhaps
