I went to my very first HBCU Battle of the Bands earlier this year. In case y’all didn’t know, my daughter is African-American, so we brought her on a parent-daughter trip during Black History Month to attend the Honda Battle of the Bands. I had never been to one before and thought it would be special for her, too. It was an experience unlike any other.
