PANDA DEBUT: The Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C., reopened today, giving a select number of visitors their first look at its newest giant panda, Xiao Qi Ji, along with his parents Tian Tian and Mei Xiang. The cub, whose name means "Little Miracle" in Mandarin, was born last August but did not appear publicly before the zoo closed in the fall.
